Kate Portal

Vocals, violin, concertina

Kate plays fiddle and concertina as her main instruments, and is a vocalist with a repertoire of contemporary and traditional songs and tunes, which she performs regularly. She also tells traditional tales, drawing on up-to-date influences. In workshop settings, Kate can use her material flexibly for a wide variety of audiences and runs a weekly music class for students with learning disabilities at Morley College in London.
