INNER VISIONS - CELEBRATING BLIND MUSICIANS-CONNECTING CULTURES-UK-INDIA.

Baluji Music Foundation based in London UK and Indian (NGO) Astha Mahila Utthan Samiti  Kanpur branch with the support of The British Council are developing a programme of music to be performed in Kanpur  January 15 2011 and later in London.

Internationally acclaimed blind maestro Baluji Shrivastav comes to Kanpur in January 2011 to work with Dr. C. L. Tripathi and his group of blind musicians.

The  pieces created in India will form part of the material that can then be brought to UK and performed in collaboration with some of the members of the newly emerging Inner Vision Orchestra .

For this particular and first and vital development project, while in India Baluji will hold a 9 day program consisting of informal presentations and sharing, practical music skills and music creation workshops and rehearsals with a group of blind musicians, culminating in a public performance in Kanpur, to which all the local supporters from the institutes and colleges and fans of Baluji's will be invited.

During the week, Baluji will also record the music of the artists performing and present each of them with a copy which they may use as a way to market and demonstrate their skills and enhance  their career opportunities.
